N Scale Modular - Water Street

Water Street by Chris Churchus has two forms. It can either be a pair of moduels that provide an inside corner, enabling some of the more interesting layout shapes or the inside corner can be replaced with a straight module.

Water Street
This the curved form: note that the track plan shown here is not accurate,
several of the tracks come together
to join the main line at both ends, forming sorting loops.

Water Street alternate	form
This the straight form: note that this track plan is also not accurate.

Water Street represents a trackside industrial area with a short passing loop and a number of sidings serving the industries. If the operations team is large enough, cars can be switched between the industrial spurs and the passing loop, a train made up that departs on the main line and is replaced by a new incoming consist which is then switched into the spurs.

Water Street alternate straight module.
The alternate straight module that can replace the inside corner. The exit at the left can be double track as here, or a "bumper" added to convert the second track into a short siding if the next modules is single track.
