N Scale Modular - Water StreetWater Street by Chris Churchus has two forms. It can either be a pair of moduels that provide an inside corner, enabling some of the more interesting layout shapes or the inside corner can be replaced with a straight module. ![]() This the curved form: note that the track plan shown here is not accurate, several of the tracks come together to join the main line at both ends, forming sorting loops. ![]() This the straight form: note that this track plan is also not accurate. Water Street represents a trackside industrial area with a short passing loop and a number of sidings serving the industries. If the operations team is large enough, cars can be switched between the industrial spurs and the passing loop, a train made up that departs on the main line and is replaced by a new incoming consist which is then switched into the spurs. ![]() ![]() |
